Having celebrated its 40th anniversary last year,
Dennis Highlands has long been a 昀椀xture on the
Cape, offering open-wide fairways and undulated
double-tiered greens that are protected by bunkers
on most holes.
The par-3 hole 16 happens to be one of Assistant
Director of Golf Michael Holzworth’s favorites. “It’s very
challenging,” he says. “There’s a large bunker in front
that guards the hole, and there’s trouble with woods
in the back so you have to hit a good shot.”

Highland Links
TRURO
At the outer edge of the Cape sits one of the region’s
oldest and most scenic courses. Founded in 1892,
Highland Links is a must-play for any visitor, with its
sweeping views of the Atlantic. While every hole on the
course is a treat, the 464-yard 6th hole may be the
most spectacular. With the ocean at your back, you’ll
be hitting on a clifftop towards Highland Light on this

dogleg left.
You’ll end your round on the Scottish links-style 9-hole
course with a much shorter hole (136 yards); national
publications have hailed hole #9 one of the world’s
greatest par-3s.
