Celebrate Harvest Season on Cape Cod
1
Toast the arrival of
fall with a glass of wine
Cheers to fall! If you’d rather quaff a nice glass of wine than a
pumpkin latte, meet like-minded souls at Cape Cod Winery in
East Falmouth, owned and operated by the Orlandella family.
Think wine tastings (they produce ten varieties of vino), tasty

merry fall festival in October.
Meanwhile, in Yarmouth Port, oenophiles rave about the
selection at Dunn & Sons Wine, featuring wines from small
producers, mostly organic and biodynamic. Encounter wines
from exciting new winemakers and renowned names alike,
attend wine school, or join a wine-enthusiasts’ event.
The folks at Truro Vineyards are serious about great wine—
which you’d expect from pioneers in the art of maritime grape
growing—but they sure know how to have a good time too.
Head to Truro for wine tastings, vineyard and winery tours, and
rollicking fall events like the Grape Stomp in September and
outdoor Vinegrass Music Festival in early October.

2 Hoist a fall-worthy brew
When Jack Frost starts a-nipping, nip into a local brewery and sample terri昀椀c seasonal brews. Local
favorite Bad Martha Farmer’s Brewery & Tasting Room in East Falmouth offers a killer combo of great
pizza, games, live music and wide selection of craft beer—including the Oktoberfest, a Märzen German
lager.
In Sandwich, the taproom at Treehouse Brewing entices beer-lovers with pizza, lobster rolls, live
music, and uniquely delicious adult beverages...all of which can be enjoyed on a crisp fall day on the
waterfront deck or lively patio. Try the Choconanner Stout, brewed with chocolate malts, house-roasted
coffee, chocolate syrup and bananas.
At Naukabout Brewery in Mashpee, great options for toasting the season include a pumpkin spice
milkshake IPA and a Harvest Apple Mule with apple juice and ginger beer. Hearty pub grub, music,
games, theme nights and an expansive patio add to the party vibe. Also check out their family-friendly
seasonal Beer Garden on the green at Mashpee Commons.
Hog Island Beer in Orleans has a fun backstory—the building was once the town lock-up. Try their
Chatham Kelp Stout, a dark semi-sweet brew made with kelp for saltiness.
