From local bandstands to beachside pavilions, music

steady stream of free outdoor concerts performing
bluegrass, jazz, classic rock, country, and more. Look
for concert series favorites: Chatham Town Band,
Concerts by the Canal, and the Nauset Beach and
Mashpee Commons Summer Concerts Series, and
head to the nearest village green for an enchanting
evening of music under the stars.

Contemplate heaven on earth on a free, docent-
guided tour of Rock Harbor’s magni昀椀cent cathedral
rising from the shores of Cape Cod Bay in Orleans
known as “an architectural wonder”. Art, history,
and 4th-century style architecture combine to
inspire visitors with stunning mosaics and frescos
illuminated by the “surround-sound”, one-of-its-
kind in the world St. Cecilia organ. Stay for evening
vespers and marvel at the sound of the bells ringing
out over Orleans and Eastham from the landmark
100-ft. bell tower.
Outdoor Movies
BYO blankets or lawn chairs and settle in for a
summer lineup of free, outdoor movies and family
entertainment. It’s all fun and lawn games at
Mashpee Commons family-friendly movie nights
that begin at dusk, and “Movies on the Green” in
Hyannis. Stay for the double feature at Falmouth’s
“Movies Under the Stars”, or head to Smugglers
Beach in Yarmouth for screenings in the sand.
